What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

We understand that you’re busy and your availability can change. We ask that for all non-surgical appointments you provide 72 hours’ notice so that we can reallocate your time. Less than 72 hours’ notice for a change or cancellation of appointment will result in forfeiture of your $100 prepayment.

What are the ingredients in the vitamin solution?

The solution consists of various vitamins, minerals, enzymes, plant extracts, anaesthetics, medications and amino acids. The ingredients vary depending on the concerns being addressed and the effect desired while allowing for a greater level of safety when issues such as drug interactions and allergies exist.

How many treatments are required before the results are visible?

This is difficult to answer due to the dearth of studies examining this question, the wide range of solutions that are available and concerns that may be targeted with the mesotherapy. A treatment cycle could require as few as 4 and as many as 10 treatments or more depending on the size of the area being treated and the results desired.

Why is LED light therapy helpful for ageing?

LED therapy acts on the fibroblasts, or skin cells responsible for collagen production.

Will I be exposed to UV rays during my LED therapy?

No, harmful ultraviolet rays are not present.

Is LED therapy suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, in particular the anti-inflammatory properties in the 520nm and 830nm wavelengths are helpful for skin sensitivity.

Is LED therapy useful for rosacea/redness, and breakouts?

Yes, LED therapy can reduce inflammation and target bacteria, as well as strength capillary walls reducing the appearance of flushing and broken blood vessels.

Can LED Therapy be used with old scars?

It is safe to use with older or matured scars, however, scar optimisation is best achieved by using LED light therapy with wounds that have not yet healed or scarred. What results can I expect?

HALO™ is a complete skin revitalization laser treatment. You will likely see the initial results between two and five days after your HALO™ treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most people see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months with an overall improvement in your skin, including a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduced pore size, improved skin reflectivity and glow, and significant removal of discoloration.

How many treatments do you need?

You can choose how many treatments you want. Discuss your needs with our team and you can develop the most appropriate treatment package for your goals. An interval of at least approximately 4-8 weeks is recommended. BBL treatments can occur prior and a few weeks following HALO™.

What does HALO™ feel like?

With a topical anaesthetic and integrated cooling technology, people typically experience very little discomfort. Most people describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations but are generally comfortable. After the treatment, most people will continue to feel warm for 30 minutes to a few hours depending on the intensity of the treatment.

How long will my results last?

HALO™ results will last for long-term, but you should continue to keep your skin protected at all times using UV sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Each additional HALO™ treatment you get will continue to improve the results, giving you even more revitalised skin.

How many treatments do I need to see results?

You will likely see visible results after at least 1-2 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart. This is in contrast to traditional IPL, which typically requires at least 5-6 treatments. How quickly you see results will depend on the treating concern and the extent of treatment required.

Do I need to apply a topical anaesthetic before BBL®?

It is typically unnecessary as BBL HEROic’s™ sapphire crystal keeps the epidermis cool during treatment while allowing light to reach its target safely.

How is BBL® different to IPL?

BBL® has higher peak power than traditional IPL devices, delivering 3 x the peak power and 4 x the speed combined with 2 x the cooling, which means a more predictable, comfortable, and repeatable result. With BBL® hundreds of colours of light flash at the same time, whereas IPL is a single colour of light. Hundreds of lights mean BBL® is able to treat multiple concerns at the same time.
